That standard now includes public federal verdict work in some of Oklahoma's most demanding civil-rights litigation, including a $126 million verdict in Gaines v. City of Moore and a unanimous $2 million jail-death verdict for the Estate of Gregory Neil Davis. Verdicts are different from collected recoveries, and post-verdict legal issues can matter. These verdicts are examples of the firm's federal trial work.
The firm's in-house courtroom is not branding. It is a working environment for mock examinations, focus group testing, and opening/closing refinement before mediation and trial. It gives the lawyers a place to test the evidence and presentation before entering a courtroom.
