About Jim

Jim Forgotson is bankruptcy attorney. He is of counsel at the law firm of Laird, Hammons, Laird, PLLC, where he handles the firm’s consumer bankruptcy division. He helps consumers and small businesses in Oklahoma find a fresh financial start through personal and business bankruptcy.

Jim has experience representing clients in related consumer rights litigation, including fighting abusive mortgage practices and providing clients with relief from overwhelming student loans through non-bankruptcy options.  He has also taken on creditors who attempt to collect debts that have been legally discharged in a bankruptcy case.
